User Fields

User Fields in Slack Notifications

In Settings > Slack > User fields, choose which user details to display in Slack when a new conversation starts.

Common fields: email, browser, browser_language, location, phone, company, timezone

Important Notes

• Only the Slack account used during sync will automatically join new user channels. Other members must click Join in Slack.
• If Agent linking is enabled, only assigned agents (or department agents) receive notifications.
• Push notifications work with Slack messages sent by agents.
• If the chatbot can answer, the message won’t be sent to Slack until a human takeover happens.
• /archive in Slack will archive the conversation in Digihub.
• Archiving in Digihub also archives the linked Slack channel.
